I'm here to present one solution created by our community. It was a pleasant effort creating this module. By the way, thanks for the enphasis on Mendes.
Our idea is to put a banner at the homepage of your store, the intention is to replace that image that comes as a default in the page.

Step by step for installation:
1 - Upload your content of the ZIP file to the folder / modules / - has to be well / modules/adsgm5 / * files *
2 - You must create a standard image size for use with adsgm5, go to Preferences> Photos> Add new. Fill out the information as shown in the figure below.
Click Save
3 - Done the previous step successfully at the end of the page click 'regenerate thumbnails'
4 - After receiving the confirmation of regeneration go to Modules and install the module ADSGM5 and then click configure.
to enter the following screen appears:
5 - Now it's just custom,
* Legend *
A= Number of products to display.
B= First color to be customized.
C= second color to be customized.
D= Background Color of the banner.
E= word that is above the price.
F= stripe top right of the word.
6 - Click save and see the result in your store.
7 - I await comment

Module Updated: Fixed the issue of currency, the ADSGM5 automatically captures the currency used.
